NOVEL
INTRODUCTION
Long before the total darkness eventually falls upon the dog – tired, sunny spot, the long running, blazing hot day ultimately fades away, like an early morning dew smoothly replaced by the totally-deserted, stony valley, lounging around in the dim light of the extraordinarily huge, burning hot sun sinking down beyond the distant horizon, the magic show starts.
The absolutely calmed down sea, safely relaxing in the pink, ragged lagoon, is vividly glittering like the enormous mirror, in the sight of the vanishing, reddish – brown sunrays.
Rightwards, in the gloomy sighting of an ancient sailing boat securely anchored right at the sea shore with a high sharp mast, directing straight into the dark blue sky, is the hardly visible, badly torn fishing net drying off in the wind.
Leftwards, in the vague outline, one could hardly recognize a lonely figure of an elderly long-haired man with a thick, red beard, poorly dressed in the dirty rags, sitting motionless on the fairly warm, but fiercely hard soil, after the habitually tiring and obviously timeless, tough working day, staring keenly into the wide open space, as though, waiting for someone exceptional to arrive and save his strongly weakened body, but, nonetheless, the restless and immortal soul.
CHAPTER ONE
ON AN ISLAND
I half open my swollen eyes, try to raise up my aching head and look worriedly around.
-“Where I am? What`s going on? Am I still alive? – murmur I pathetically to myself. I can hardly move my bruised legs and hands. Why? I try to figure out what had happened before I appeared on this God forgotten land. But I`m so badly tired, that I cannot even think. I fall immediately asleep, sinking into the deep, sweet dream, drifting me far away from this weird place.
